K & T Engineers can be justifiably
proud of it's workforce. the team consisting of eight including the
Directors are multi-skilled and multi-tasked. This flexible approach to
work means greater variance for the workforce with less tedium in the
workplace and brings enormous skills benefits in product quality and
output for our customers.
The team consider new customer orders and
specifications as a challenge not as a problem, which can and does exist
in many other companies.
Meet the team:
Samuel Kuropka, apprentice engineer
At eighteen our youngest member of staff, Sam is currently in his second
year and attending Bournemouth & Poole College to attain his City
& Guilds in Mechanical Engineering.
Alex Kuropka, apprentice technician
At twenty Alex is studying for his HND in Mechanical Engineering and
assists the company in all areas of operations.
Terry Phillips
Nine years at K & T Engineers, Terry is a skilled turner by trade but
also runs our centreless grinder and induction brazing section. At 67
years young Terry has a lifetime's experience, which he is passing on to
the younger members of our team.
Lee Young
One of our own products! Lee was apprenticed at K & T Engineers and is
a qualified CNC programmer and operator, multi skilled he has supported in
all areas of manufacture for over 15 years. Lee is currently studying for
his NEBS Diploma in Supervisory Studies.
Bill Dumaresq
Has also been with us for over 15 years, a senior member of the team, Bill
is a skilled Toolmaker who assists in all areas including administration
and estimating.
Doug Brown
Has been with us for over seven years, a skilled miller and general
machinist, Doug programmes and operates our CNC mills and looks after all
milled components.
Paul Bulpitt - BA (Hons), FCCA
He is our Finance Director. As well as watching our payments, receipts and
profitability, Paul is a senior partner in his own accountancy practice.
Bernard Kuropka - MA, DMS, Dip M
As Managing Director, he began working life as an apprentice maintenance
fitter going on to hold several senior management positions in industry
and commerce. His latest challenge is K & T Engineering.
